Friends and Relatives in Arizona

Pretty much fate and good karma that our friends the Wenner's from Lake Belle Taine would be in Gilbert, AZ when we are here with our other friends, the Mackenthun's from the lake.  So, we had a fun afternoon catching up on travels and then a really good all-you-can-eat pasta dinner at Robson Ranch.  Lucky to have such good buds!  All that fun with a full moon on the desert!  WOW!  A perfect evening with good friends.

Willie got his do done and looks pretty cute.  A  guy drove by and stopped  to talk,  who had a 200 pound St. Bernard that he travels with in his travel trailer.  The dog was such a sweetie but a major slobber-er!  Wow, who travels with a dog that big?  Someone from St. Cloud, MN!

Today we went to Sun Lakes, AZ after a good walk and had lunch with Gil's brother, Bob.  Jan was in CA for daughter Carrie's double knee surgery.... ouch!  They were so generous to offer their washer and dryer (no quarters required - hooray!) and  treated us to a fun lunch at the club house.  Life is good with all this sunshine and relaxed living.  Fun catch up with Becky and sweet Brody on Tango today while I was folding clothes!

We needed to get some cash so went to look for our money this afternoon and of course couldn't find it!  Yikes, were the passports with the money?  After much searching and cleaning out, we found it so we're good for the Mesa flea market on Friday.  We are excited that we will take our first pickleball class on Friday after watching Harold play yesterday.

My friend, Bev Loken (former Cargill colleague),  is visiting friends in Tuscon and playing in a pickleball tournament  here in Casa Grande next week.  We'll put on our MN logo clothes and cheer her on!  

Thanks for traveling with us!  We are enjoying the adventure and fun of tons of new friends and places we've never seen before because we too rushed because we were on vacation!  We're on a permanent vacation now! Yoga tomorrow!
