OK, this is getting a little frustrating! Yesterday we couldn't find the money or passports and today we couldn't find the car keys! Now seriously there are only so many places to look in this trailer! We had to finally call OnStar to open the car and found the keys in the center console. We must have put them in there when we were looking for the passports by accident. Right now, I think we've got everything 'found' except the second set of car keys. Thank heavens for OnStar!
We got mail today! The box from dad and lots of fun magazines to read arrived. It's funny only getting mail once a month. Glad to have most things online! Medicare Blue RX is still messed up but we're making progress. Fortunately, we haven't needed any medical attention while we've been on the road.
Hoppy is loving the warm temps of Arizona and feeling an 'ouch' with the prickly pear cactus! The car is the local get-around vehicle here at the RV park. Cute huh?
We heard today that 87 is the new 65. Isn't that encouraging? I hope we are in for a long run having all this fun. We headed off to Tuscon today after our walk for an oil change and shopping at Trader Joe's and Costco. It was a fun day and good to get away from 'looking for 'stuff' for a change!
We make sun tea everyday and each day the temps get warmer and warmer. I have to tell you that there is something so fun about waking up to the smell of coffee and greeting the day with emails and texts from friends. We feel so lucky to have loads of warm temps and sunshine....we have just had the good weather with us this entire trip! You wake up without a plan and the relaxation of the day unfolding before you is just great! No pressure, no deadlines, no performance reviews or alarm clocks is pretty nice. I think I've surprised myself and Gil how easily and quickly I've settled into this new life! We've decided to skip the Mesa Flea Market this year....we don't have room for 'stuff' so maybe next year! Happy weekend everyone! Everyday is our weekend and we are lovin' it. Happy birthday to our dear Stephanie as she celebrates her birthday today/tomorrow...she's a leap year birthday. We wish you love Steph and a great year! We are glad to have our 'day clock' so we know when we need to set our garbage out! LOL!
These cacti above have had too much wine or something! Talk about road blockers! Super excited for our first pickleball lesson tomorrow!
